Neskonlth has a long history and active involvement in the protection, management and interpretation of its cultural heritage. Our Referrals Coordinator is responsible for land and resource referral intake and the coordination of related consultation between Tmicw, Chief and Council, Industry, Government and Sk’atsin Resources.

Sk'atsin te Secwepemculew Consultation and Accommodation policy (2022) 

Skat’sin te Secwepemc Neskonlith holds unextinguished Aboriginal title and rights (Skat’sin te Secwepemc Neskonlith Rights) over the lands and waters of our territory. This internal policy upholds the federal obligation of the Crown and proponents to engage on proposed activities in ways that respect our Secwepemc laws, culture, and protocols.

Consultation Application
The Neskonlith Indian Band (NIB) has adopted NationsConnect, a consultation and referrals portal designed to support the referrals management process.
 
All  referrals must now be sent to Neskonlith through the NationsConnect portal. This will replace submissions by mail, fax, and email. 
 
Go to https://nationsconnect.ca/ to begin the process of registration. Click on the Sign Up Now button to get started. Should you have any questions beforehand, please do not hesitate to contact  support@kwusen.ca.
 
All referrals must input a kml/kmz or zipped shape files before submission is complete.
Referrals sent to this referrals@neskonlith.net will not be considered submitted to NIB and will not receive a reply.
