Learn the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to work as direct client care providers in any level of continuing care, including home support, adult day care, assisted living, private care, complex care and acute care. The program consists of theoretical and laboratory components in the classroom, as well as a supervised practicum in long-term care and community settings.*

B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent or 19 years of age and out of secondary school for one year as of the first day of classes
English 10 with minimum 60% or equivalent
Proof of 3 years of full-time secondary or post-secondary instruction in English
Negative tuberculin screening (TB test)
Proof of current immunizations/vaccinations, including COVID
Criminal Record Check Clearance
